deleting a blog

  I started a blog September 1 2010 called nwipapdx.wordpress. We have a new domain that was just purchased through you. I would like to delete the old one so there is no confusion. The problem is I have no idea what the username or password is and it is not associated with my current email address. I have tried every possible combo to try to gain access and cannot. The account has been inactive for almost a year and half. We just needed gone please Thank you for your time.

  You will have to provide Staff with either the email address the account was created under of the API key in the activation wmail your received when the account was created, as they cannot violate the privacy policy.

  timethief is correct, in that we cannot assist you or delete the blog in question unless you can verify ownership of the blog.

  If you know the email address that was used to create the blog, you can request a new password here:

  http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  You can also send us an email from that account to request the blog be deleted.
