deleting a blog

I deleted my blog. however, when i visited the old site, i still saw my old posts in the website. i wanted to delete it because i tried uploading my tumblr posts, but it was to many and I didn’t want to import them anymore. I wanted to use the site name again, however. my site was ‘bookdusts.wordpress.com’

Did you use this process to delete the blog? Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Did you look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link? if clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.

I did the first one already, and I’ve clicked the email verification link, but when I visit the URL, I can still see the contents.

Do you want to delete it, or do you want staff help to import your Tumblr to it? Because I can flag this for staff and they might be able to do the import for you.

You can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.
Alternatively, we can empty the whole blog for you, but that will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files.
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.If you are sure you want to proceed, please reply to confirm the name of the blog you want us to empty.

Actually, I kind of regretted importing my Tumblr post because it was too many, so I tried deleting them, but it just kept updating, so I just deleted the blog because I’ve exported the stuff I wanted to keep. But then the blog won’t delete.
I wanted to keep the name, but I think it’s not possible, so I guess I just want to delete the blog. I don’t have access to it anymore, since i deleted the blog from my account. That’s what’s peculiar actually, ’cause the blog is still present.my blog is ‘bookdusts.wordpress.com’

It’s seems you were deleted from the blog so I’ve just re-added you. You now have access to https://bookdusts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ again.
Blog deletion is permanent and the blog name can’t be used again. If you want I can empty all the content of your blog instead.

Hi, I had make a blog and I deleted it to make it again with my other wordpress account. Unfortenaly I didn’t know that the blog name can’t be used again. What should I do now? I really need to have the same blog name :(
