deleting a blog vs a website?

  I had an old wordpress page/blog set up. My current website is a word press site. My web designer asked me to get rid of my old wordpress blog/page. I went in to delete the old word press blog/page and realize it is the same password and user name as my wordpress pages in my website. If I delete the old pages/blog will it also delete all word press in my website?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
