Deleting a category

  How do I delete a category? I entered one and saved it too quickly now I want to delete it and can’t see how to do it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  i don’t know.i can’t delete category,but you can rename it! it’s very easy

  If you go to Posts -> categories, you can delete a category, there is an option under each category, I think you may have to make sure no posts have that category before deleting.

  If you mean delete a category from a post, you edit the post and uncheck the category in the Categories module.
  If you mean delete the category altogether, you go to Posts > Categories and click Delete under the category title.
  Two notes on this:
  a) If you have filed some posts under that category only, the posts will automatically be reassigned to your default category.
  b) You cannot delete your default category: when this is the category you want to delete, you must first go to Settings > Writing and set a different category as your default.
