Deleting a domain

  Hi, I already have a blog called ‘freemasonsareus’ and I have created another blog ‘royalarchmasonsareus’ but I was not happy with the format, so I deleted ‘royalarchmasonsareus’ and have tried to use the same title again but cannot, can you help please. Thanks

  royalarchmasonsareus.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  However, due to technical difficulties, this blog has been removed and will re-appear shortly.

  Not really –

  gone is gone forever – domain names are not recycled at WordPress.COM – you will need to pick a new name or register a custom domain name and map the domain name to a blog here

  Hi, so am I to understand that the blog name that I choose, i.e. royalarchmasonsareus, although it is not used and the blog has been deleted, I cannot reuse or recover that name? Thanks

  Yes. That’s what the warnings said at the time. Deletions are permanent and irreversible.

  Sure, I fully understand that deletions are permanent, but I thought that the domain name would be free to use again.
