deleting a domain name

Hi there,
I had a blog, which i have now deleted. But my domain which is registerd with another host, now no longer works.
I have a website set up http://www.madebyamuffin.com and when I had a wordpress blog, I had it mapped to go to the wordpress site.
Now that I have deleted my blog, my website will not go to its new homepage. I have a default HTML set up to direct it to the correct page etc, but for some reason, it opens up a blank page?Any help on how to clear the domain I set up, now that my blog is completely removed?
