Deleting a forum post

Can I delete the following post on the forum on wordpress as I keep receiving spamming email in my account. Sometimes, the email even comes with malware which endanger my computer’s security..

I found that that forum thread had only 2 replies, so, if you’re subscribed, you should have received only email notifications for that. You can unsubscribe to the topic, but it appears that this emails are not coming from the forums.

@carinapilar just my 2¢ but I believe the OP is requesting that his old username (containing an email address) be removed from the replies in that post or perhaps even his site URL in the thread title.

what I mean is I display my website address on that forum thread. While my website allow visitors to access my email contact, a lots of people send me emails about providing their services like website design, seo, mobile apps, and even custom logo design! Those emails keep spamming me.
There was even one email claims to provide similar website service, when I opened the mail, there was malware installed..
So may I request to remove my website address on that forum thread?Thank you so much for reading this.

We have your site address removed from that forum thread. I would like to clarify that this will not prevent you from receiving those emails. That’s really common and happens because you have your email on your site, which is public on the internet. I suggest you use on your site a generic email like “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” and set up an anti-spam tool on your email server.
