Deleting a homepage that doesn’t exist

    Help! I am trying to update my homepage. and it’s showing a page that I can’t even find.
    1. The category is uncategorized and no option to delete it.
    2. The photo that shows isn’t in the media folder
    3. the homepage doesn’t show in pages and I have zero posts. I’ve deleted everything I can think of.
    4. Could my site need updated? I suspect it does as my dashboard doesn’t seem to look like some in the training videos.
    5. I don’t want another site name but want to totally redo the whole site with static homepage with a blog section.

    1. The category is uncategorized and no option to delete it.

    The uncategorized category is there when there are no other categories available there.

    What photo are you referring to exactly?

    3. the homepage doesn’t show in pages and I have zero posts. I’ve deleted everything I can think of.

    I’m seeing a homepage in place there – this can be accessed via Pages.

    Can you tell me the URL of the site you’re working on please?

    5. I don’t want another site name but want to totally redo the whole site with static homepage with a blog section.

    Can you tell me if you’ve seen something online? I can perhaps suggest next steps on how to achieve that.
