Deleting a node/avatar from blog

  I don’t want to have my avatar pic on my blog. How do I remove?
  I found a way to delete the node but it doesn’t seem to stick and keeps coming back.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Scroll down to “Gravatar Email”
  if you remove that then there will be no display on the blog.
