Deleting a post from a support forum (this one)

  I made the mistake of posting a question on this forum well down on a thread, and the thread title really didn’t represent the question in my post accurately. I’d like to re-post the question under a new topic title; however, it would not be appropriate to leave the original post up so the same question was in two places.

  I have not been able to find out how to delete my original post from the forum. Is there a way to do this? TIA

  Put the URL that you want changed and what you want the title to be ad we can change the title.

  Hm. The thread has gone offscreen, it seems, and does not show up on a tag search, so no longer relevant.

  However, the “change the title” wouldn’t work for this, afaik, b/c the title was for a 7-post thread. It was only my latest post that was not quite relevant to the title, and needed to be deleted/moved. Since the thread seems to have vanished, I’ll feel free to post the original misplaced Q now.

  Click on where it says Member next to your user name there. Also clicking on “View your profile” at the upper right of the forums here will show you your list of posts.

  Just make a post in teh thread that you want deleted or state what you want changed and either Trent or I will do it for you.
