Deleting a Post from WordPress Reader
-
Hi there, yesterday we published a post by mistake. It showed up in our feed, so an email was sent to all WP subscribers. Now, even though the post disappeared from the RSS feed, it is still visible in WordPress.com Reader. Is it possible to remove it? Will it be removed with the next feed update? How does that work? Many thanks. Paolo
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@justravelingcom my reader just shows the post from the 6th, so I think you’re all set. If you’re sill seeing the deleted post there, try closing and re-opening your browser. And if that still doesn’t fix it, let us know & we’ll try something else.

@supernovia yes, it still shows up and I’ve also tried on a different PC/browser. I guess this is due to the fact that as a subscriber I’ve received the notification and it remains there since “the owner” of the account can’t delete it. If possible on your side, it would be great to remove it.

@justravelingcom, ah okay. I understand now. I did a bit of digging and found out the notification will stay in a followed sites feed, much like email followers will have notifications in their inboxes.
