deleting a site

  naniki This is the site I would like help with – to delete. The tech person lost the username and password and I am the owner of the content – would like to take it down. How can I?

  Howdy,

  To delete a site on WordPress.com follow the steps in our Delete Site documentation. Only authorized users of a site are able to delete a site.

  If access is lost to a site you may be able to recover it using our Account Recovery Process

  I basically did the above for a basic free site, but the site is still showing up on my WordPress account. Do you know why?

  Can you please let us know the address of the blog you deleted but it is still visible on your account?
