Deleting a site

So, when I changed my username, I somehow created a new website. My original website is lifeofajournaler.wordpress.com but now I somehow have another one called avidjournaer.wordpress.com. I don’t think there’s any posts or content associated with avidjournaler.wordpress.com and so I want to delete it. Will this have any effect on my original site (lifeofajournaler.wordpress.com)?

Deleting a site would not affect another site unless you’re deleting an account. If both lifeofajournaler.wordpress.com and avidjournaer.wordpress.com own by the same account (username: avidjournaler), then deleting the empty site (avidjournaer.wordpress.com) shouldn’t be a problem.
However, do take note that once you’ve deleted avidjournaer.wordpress.com, the site address cannot be reused anymore by you or other members.

In case you might want to use the site address one day, you may just change the site’s privacy setting to Private instead of deleting it.

I just wanted to add that avidjournaer.wordpress.com has never been used (it looks like there is a typo in the address) but avidjournaler.wordpress.com has been deleted, so it looks like you are all set :)
