Deleting a site

  I have two sites. One has content. (tellmethis.co) The other has nothing. (tellmethisdot.co) Somehow the two sites are linked. All of my posts for tellmethis.co are noted on the dashboard of tellmethisdot.co HOw can I delete the one without content (tellmethisdot) without disturbing the first site. I’m worried that I will lose the first site.

  Hello there!

  It appears as if your two WordPress.com site are:

  tellmethisbook.wordpress.com/
  and
  tellmethisdotco.wordpress.com/

  Your site, tellmethisbook.wordpress.com/, has the custom domain: tellmethis.co .

  Everything you write at that WordPress.com site appears under that unique domain name. You can see that at your Dashboard here:
  http://tellmethisbook.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  On the other hand, your other site looks completely empty:
  https://tellmethisdotco.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php

  Take a look and confirm that https://tellmethisdotco.wordpress.com has no content.

  If it is truly empty, and you no longer want the site, you can delete it. It will not impact tellmethisbook.wordpress.com/tellmethis.co at all.

  Make sure you are in the correct Dashboard before you delete your site!

  I followed your instructions and was able to delete the unused site. The reason I wanted it deleted was 1)it was empty and 2) if you googled my name, you were connected to the empty site and not to my site with content. Unfortunately, if you Google my name, you will still be directed to the empty (now non-existent) site. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/harriet542

  Hey there!

  Great. Glad the deletion worked out!

  It appears as if your personal settings for your user account are still not updated to the correct site.

  To fix this, go to your Dashboard:
  http://tellmethisbook.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Then click Users → Personal Settings and make certain that your Account Details are correct.

  I changed my personal settings. Now, when I google my name I get:

  Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

  Can you help?

  I made a mistake when I changed my website. My bad. I corrected it, and now, it looks fine. Thanks for your help.
