Deleting a site

  I would like to delete one of my sites. I am going to let the domain run out. I could just delete the directories and everything on the site but I was wondering is I should uninstall wordpress first. It seems a cleaner way of doing it. I would like that site to disappear from my list of sites on wordpress.

  Hi –
  Are you trying to delete a WordPress.com site, or a WordPress.org site? For support with a WordPress.org site, you would need to post here https://wordpress.org/support/
  Installation of WordPress is a requirement for WordPress.org not WordPress.com.

  This is how you delete a site with WordPress.com. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  I am only trying to uninstall this site and delete the directories. I have other wordpress sites that I intend on keeping. I will let this domain laps and remove its directories.
