Deleting a site?

Was just asking, I recently deleted a site that had personal family photos. Will the photos be totally deleted now, or still with WP?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you delete a site, all data related to it will be deleted from WordPress.com’s servers and cannot be recovered.
