deleting a site

I have an old blog site. From the dashboard, I can see there is only one post. I wish to delete it. I can see the delete button from the settings menu. I want to confirm that my other blog will not be affected, nor the one post which I have transferred over to the current site once I press delete. Thanks

All blogs are individual web sites and deleting one has no impact on any other site. To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site.
