Deleting a site, is it permanent ?

  Hi,

  These 2 support documents are not consistent:

  “Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address..”

  Delete a Website

  “Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.”

  Hi there,

  The deletion is permanent. In the rare case where a site is restored, only its .wordpress.com address is restored and not its contents.
