Deleting a site: will it affect my other site?

  Hello,

  I made “thefootballjuice.wordpress.com” a while ago and have moved all of the content/targets to “thefootballjuice.com” which uses wordpress.org and is hosted on GoDaddy. I’d like to delete everything on the wordpress.com address, but want to make sure that it won’t affect anything that I’ve exported to the thefootballjuice.com address. Can you please confirm that deleting this wordpress.com account won’t affect anything else?

  This blog http://thefootballjuice.wordpress.com/ is not being domain mapped from to http://thefootballjuice.com/ so deleting the .wordpress.com blog will have no effect on it. However, if you make it private http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ you can periodically create export files and import them and then you will have a backup blog.

  Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Note that deleted blog URLs are not recycled. If your delete the blog the URL cannot be reused by anyone.
