Deleting a theme and starting from scratch

    Hi folks! I am brand new to WordPress and desperately need help.

    I decided to create a blog website and after creating a WordPress account, opted to use a theme thinking it would be easier for a novice like me. However, I ended up running into a lot of customization trouble with themes and would now like to start from scratch, no theme.

    As an experiment, I made another site where I started from scratch and I was successfully able to implement the aesthetic changes I want it but I am unable to change the site address to what I want it to be. Please tell me how to remove/delete the theme option and how to start from scratch again. Thank you!

    Welcome to WP.com. I understand your problem and sorry to inform you that you have to use a theme. This is how WordPress works. Whatever customization you want you have do in your theme by applying custom CSS and modifying theme files depending on the plan you are on.

    2. What site do you want these changes on?
