Deleting a wordpress.com blog

My client is trying to get rid of a blog that their former employee started. The employee is no longer with the company, and they’re unable to get the username/password from him to delete the blog. We tried fill out the account recovery form to make the blog private, but they do not have the requested options for ‘proof of ownership.’ What are their options?

The blog can only be deleted from the owners user account. You’ll need proof of ownership listed on the Account Recovery form in order to get access to the site.
