  If I completely delete the account, can I then open another one with the same address?

  Hi there,

  No. If you delete it, it becomes unavailable for you or anyone else to use. See here for more information:

  It would be best for you to just delete all the content and start over fresh.

  If you don’t have a lot of content and would like to empty to start over, the link below provides instructions on doing so.

  Empty Your Site to Start Fresh

  If you have a lot of content need assistance from Staff, they can assist with emptying a site if needed. Use the “modlook” tag on the sidebar to have Staff take a look and assist. You will also need to confirm the site url and state that you understand this is permanent.

  You also have the option to rename the site and keep both names. The old content will be moved over to the new name, and the old name will be empty. Just make sure you pay attention to each step and do not delete anything unless you’re positive that’s what you want to do.
