deleting account

My father has recently passed and I need to close down his site however I can’t find the delete site button?
Assistance required ASAP please as it is a business site and we don’t want anymore orders or requests, infringements or debts.

Hi there. So sorry to hear about your loss. Here’s a link on how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Basically, once you click “My Site” and then “Settings”, you can choose to “Delete Site”. Be careful though, because that’s permanent. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply. I cannot see that button. I think I am logging in as a user and not as the creator of his account and therefore cannot delete it? However, as I said I truly need to take it down for my mother. Any other advice how I can take it down for her?
