  I would like to delete this wordpress account but would like to keep my domain to use on another website builder.

  1. What is the domain URL? Do you want to use the domain URL on another site?
  2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
  3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?

  I made the domain on hostgator. It is not a wordpress.com url. I would like to use the url http://www.alisonfoy.com to build another site not using wordpress.

  Howdy –

  Editing your domain DNS will allow you to do this. That is going to happen through launchpad (the registrar).
