Deleting Account

  Hello, I want to delete my account and site, but it is saying that I have premium upgrades (a purchased theme) that prevents me from deleting my site. Help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @athousandcrumbs,

  I should mention first that

  • WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted
  • Deleting a site is permanent and that URL can never be used again, so make sure that’s really what you want before you do it

  When you delete your site and you see the message about having Premium Upgrades, there should be a Manage Upgrades button you can click. Once there, use the links provided on that page to cancel your upgrades, or tag this post with “modlook” to get staff help with transferring them to another site on your account.
