Deleting account

  I would like to delete my account, and the directions say to remove all personal information from the account settings page, but it won’t let me remove my email address. I would like to permanently remove all personal information from the account, including removing my email address. Is there any way to do so?

  Hi there!

  Have you tried replacing your email address instead of leaving it blank? You can find Email Address under Username in the account settings tab of your profile.

  WordPress.com account cannot be deleted. You can, however, remove all personal information and change your password to a random string. Information about deleting accounts can be found here:
