deleting account

  I am wanting to delete my account completely. Delete to the point that I won’t be able to sign into wordpress unless I create an account again. I have tried finding out how to do that, but all I can find are how to delete sites on my account.

  Hey there! Sorry to see you go. While there isn’t an easy “delete” button, you can effectively lock up your account to achieve exactly what you described earlier. First, start by deleting your website by following these steps: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If you want to lock up your account, you can follow these steps:

  -Hide your Gravitar profile by clicking the “hide” button on the bottom-right of your
  Gravitar page. http://en.gravatar.com/support/profile-privacy

  -Block all subscription emails from WordPress in this link : https://wordpress.com/ settings/notifications/

  -Remove all personal data (except account name and email address): https://wordpress.com/me/account

  -Change the account to use a throwaway email address. You can find a throwaway email address here: https://www.google.ca/search?q=free+disposable+email+address&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=Jf0mWaWKPMOD0wLgg6bYBQ

  -Change the password to a random 15-20 digit password generated here: http:// http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html

  And that should do it! You will not be able to sign in unless you create a new account. Let me know if you have further questions!
