Deleting account

  I would like to delete my wordpress account including a website that I believe (I’m not sure) is connected to the account. I want to make sure that when I delete my wordpress account it deletes the domain name and website as well. Is this what will happen if I close my account?

  Hi there!

  If you close the account it will remove any site that was created using that account.

  What’s the address of the site you want to delete? We’ll have a look and make sure it’s connected to your account :)

  Hi there,

  The site is connected to this account, but only through the Jetpack plugin. It is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, not a site hosted with WordPress.com. So, even if you close your account and disconnect this site from the account, you’ll still need to reach out to Bluehost to shut down the site – that is where the site is hosted.
