deleting account

  im wanting to delete this account, when I first created it the site made out to be free, however it says things like past bills, so I want to get rid of it so I don’t have to pay.. any advice?

  Your WordPress.com account is free. You only pay for upgrades, if and when you choose to buy them. If you haven’t bought an upgrade under Store in your dashboard and you haven’t entered your credit card information, you won’t be billed for anything.

  You also cannot delete your wordpress.com username account. This is for security reasons so others cannot claim your username and impersonate you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/ But you can remove all personal information you added and effectively deactivate your account so no one will be able to access it.
