Deleting Account from wordpress

Can someone pls help me. I need to delete our account completely – I have deleted all content but want to delete our name from wordpress. Will it automatically delete after a certain length of time?

Accounts cannot be deleted here. Blogs can. You can delete it yourself from the Dashboard->Tools page, but be warned neither you nor anyone else can ever use that URL again if you do that. We usually ssuggest you set it as Private instead.

I have deleted it already but it still comes up when I search our new website in google. How can I get round this? Thks for help.

Google clears their caches every 3 to 6 months and during that time the old URLs to the deleted blog will appear in search results. You simply have to wait for them to clear their cache. See: When NOT to use the URL removal tool
