Dear suport staff,
I’ve been trying to delete my website for a while now. Recently I discovered how, but was also charged $96 dollars to my credit card. When I entered my number, I was told that should I discontinue the site at any point, I would receive a refund for the months I did not use it for– that is to say, if I was charged for a full year, and only had the site running for four months, eight months worth of refund would be returned to me. Is this still the case? I’d really prefer not to be charged 96 dollars for having the site up and running for a few extra days.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Refunds have time limits. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?

2. the underlying url is thebuttwrench.wordpress.com
3. (email visible only to moderators and staff) registered it.
4. the registration was renewed on October 17th, three days ago.
5. I do not know how to request cancellation. I want to know how to cancel as well as if I can get a refund. -

If you are not logged in under the correct username account ie. the one that registered the underlying .wordpress.com site and purchased the upgrade for it then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

I would be happy to assist you in cancelling the upgrade. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into canceling the upgrade.
