deleting account to start fresh

Hello,
please can we delete the website/blog in order to start again. this includes domain.
somehow it has saved what i wanted to start as a personal blog to when i have tried to create a new one for work. can this be done? thanks

A few things to remember including once you delete a site, it is irreversible, which means you can’t reverse it— as well as the domain, once that gets deleted you won’t be able to choose the same domain.

You can’t delete a WordPress.com account, but you can deactivate it by following these steps.

You mentioned you’d like to “start fresh” . Deleting the entire site disables the site URL, so I recommend against that.
You have the site https://smallgirl714399856.wordpress.com/ here, but you just created it and it doesn’t have much content. Is that the one you’re trying to clear?

Also, thanks for your help here, @alissonhernande. When people say they want to start over, I recommend telling them to NOT delete their site, and flagging the thread for staff instead.
We can help them clear their sites if they’d like.
Another way to “start over” with a site, is to rename it to whatevertheirsitewasOLD.wordpress.com, and keep the old name. All of the content will be moved to the new address, and the address they want to start over with will be left blank.

yes, i want to delete the whole thing in order to free the email addresses again – this will mean i can set up fresh sites from those emails. :)

basically i have two email addresses assigned, and i need to free those up so basically delete this whole account and start again. my own fault really

sorry, i should of said its to start everything over. to get a new username, email addresses and url ect. i want to set up one for a colleague and one for myself. currently we are both assigned to one account and i need to separate those and start again making sure i don’t cross over – is this doable?

Yes. You each need your own email addresses and you will each need your own usernames. What do you each have so far?

Yes, you can deactivate an entire account. Please be aware that you won’t be able to use the same username again though, or the email that was connected to the account.
