Deleting accounts

  I would like to delete my wordpress account but I am unable to clear my personal information from accounting settings.

  Hi there,

  It is not possible to delete a WordPress account, however you can insert dummy information and then leave the account.

  Yes. That will erase your original info and what remains is a profile with dummy or fake information.

  Once this is done remove all personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string. This will leave your account inactive and prevent you from gaining access to it in the future.
