Deleting Admin

  I am an Admin on our account and am needing to delete the other admin, so that I can take over payment for the Domain currently registered. I do not know who the other user is and I am unable to get in contact with them.

  It complicates things with more than one Admin on a site. If you can’t delete the other Admin then that suggests that they created the site rather than you. If they own the site they are the only person who can transfer ownership of site and domain to you.

  Right. Because we are a non prof with many volunteers over a long period of time, we have tried to find this person and have been unsuccessful. So what are we to do?

  You would need to go through our account recovery process.

  If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:

  Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:
