Deleting all posts

I would like to delete all of my posts only. Not my pages.

You will need to delete the posts individually. There is no automated way to delete posts but not pages.
It may be faster to do this through the older Dashboard interface using the “bulk actions” checkboxes:

The bulk actions checkbox does not work. Every time I apply “Move to Trash” with more than a few items checked it gives me an “Error in moving to trash” and only moves 4 at a time. I can not do anything with more than a group of 4 items at a time.

If a staff member can delete everything for me more quickly, and has to include pages, that’s fine – I will just save the content of the pages and repost. Please let me know what my options are.

Hey there,
I can empty your site for you – which will include both posts and pages. But, confirm that is what you want to do since it is irreversible.
However, before you try that, I would also try the bulk action again while logged in under a different browser to see if you still get an error.

I was using Chrome and it is still happening when I use Microsoft Edge. I would like this issue resolved, but I will confirm that I would like to have all posts and pages removed from my wordpress site.

Hi there,
I was not receiving the error on my end, so I went ahead and placed all of your posts in the trash. You can make the move to empty the trash yourself when you’r ready, but at least they are all officially off of your blog. Hopefully that saves you some time with your pages as well.
