Deleting all web content

  Hi,
  I’d like to delete all the content from my web page. All pages, media, blog posts… Preferably so that the old content doesn’t show up in search engines results.
  But I want to keep the URL, so I can start over.

  Hi Martin,

  You can empty your site and start fresh.

  https://wordpress.com/support/empty-site/

  Doing so will allow you to start over, but it won’t affect the search engines for a while. They crawl websites periodically, and until they crawl your site again, any information they have will be the old information.

  If you have accounts with Google, Bing, etc, using the webmaster tools they offer you can often initiate a crawl to help them download the new information.
