I own a blog on this platform but I do not remember the log in details for this account nor the email address I used to set it up and I really need to delete this blog as I am trying to build a comprehensive web presence which it does not fit in to. Please let me know if you can help
Thank You,

Username accounts are not deleted. For more information, please see http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
http://wordpress.com/#!/following/subsettings/3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:

access old blog no email address or login info
You will need Staff help. In order to help you get access to your blog Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:
1. an email from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was
2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here.
3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction number send it to the email address I posted above.
This thread has been flagged for Staff attention. Sorry I posted my two comments in reverse order.
