Deleting an account.

  Hello,
  I have a wordpress site linked to my account, authorjessicadaniels.wordpress.com I believe, and I’d like to permanently delete it. I only want my authorjdaniels.com website active. When I try deleting the wordpress site, it says it’s sending an email and for me to confirm deletion, but I never receive the email. What can be done about this?

  Hi there. Please check whether the confirmation email hasn’t perhaps landed in your spam/junk folder. If you use Gmail it might also be in the Social tab of the inbox.

  Be aware that if you delete the site the URL will be gone forever and you’ll never be able to re-register it again in future. Consider just setting that site to private. Then you can use it as a test site to try out new themes, or set it to Hidden from the My blogs page and you won’t even know it’s there, but you’ll still be able to use it should you change your mind later.
