Deleting an address / Recovery
-
Hello All, thanks for stopping in.
First timer.
What I would like to achieve is the removal of a secondary press from my personal account, and re-register it under a new email.
Support declared that the whole site would be permanently deleted, fine it’s empty, but what happens to the domain?
Can I pick it up again under another address or can I change that in the settings somewhere? I only saw the Users page. Would that be it?
Thank you for your time. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
Welcome to the forums. First off, don’t delete the WordPress.com site. If you do, you will permanently lose access to that domain. If I’m understanding correctly, you have two sites under one WordPress.com account and you want to move one site to a different account. To do that, log out of your current account, go to the signup page and register a new account using the new email.
Now, log back out and log into the old account which has the site you wish to transfer. Then, follow the directions in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

Thank you for your reply.
It seems as though I have to start another blog to open the new account. Is this so?
The proposed email address IS the necessary blog name that needs transferring.
Confusing my sign-up process all to heck.I’m a triple checker, and unfortunately my first project is to be an important one.
Thanks all!

When you sign up for a new account, WordPress.com will reserve a blog with that particular username, but you don’t need to actually use it or put content on there. The only blog that would be active on the new account would be the one you transfer there.
