Deleting an expired mapped domain

I’m having trouble deleting an expired wordpress domain that was mapped to another active WP domain. The active domain has been temporarily canceled as well until the mapped site is either renewed or canceled which is unfortunate. There are no steps for an easy solution to do this.

The domain to cancel is shecaughtabody.com so catchabodymag.com can continue to function. I have no use for the SHECAUGHTABODY domain any longer, it was never used.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can help you with this, but it looks like the domain was registered under a different user. If that user account also belongs to you, you can login with that account and cancel (or renew) the domain.

Alternatively, if you login with that account and post here I can help you make the change.

I’m not sure which administrator account your referencing… There is one account that has since been deleted and I no longer have access to the email address associated with it. All 3 accounts are operated by me the purchaser and owner if the site. The WordPress account associated with it has also been deleted.

Is there anyway to deactivate the account that was used to create the site? I was trying to gain access to it without having still having access to the email address. Perhaps I can remember my old password?

Perhaps I can remember my old password?

    This is the best option.

Let me know if you have any success with this.

If not, we can try other avenues, but if you can remember the password, that will be the simplest solution.

If the user name & email associated with the WordPress page is no longer active, will the password even give me access to the site? I’m not understanding why the paid site is no longer active yet the mapped site is expired causing the other site to stop functioning…

This isn’t working. The user account used to register this site has been deleted.

If you can’t remember the password to the old account, the next step is for you to work with our Account Recovery team. I’ll open a private ticket with them and they’ll take it from there.

I’m closing this thread, as we can’t discuss account recovery in the forums, but you will receive a response from our Account Recovery team soon.
