Deleting an image from a free theme
-
Hi there,
This is my first blog for a school assignment. When I pick a theme and go to customize it, I can’t seem to get rid of the images that come with the theme and replace them with my own images. It only allows me to edit the header image and the background image. What am I doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Have you tried the instructions in either of the two sections on deleting media files in the Deleting Files support page?
If you’re referring to featured images on posts or pages, then see the Removing a Featured Image and Setting a Featured Image sections in the Featured Images support page.
Are you referring to the site https://alyssacvblog.wordpress.com/? I haven’t found any default images on that site.

I should have mentioned that if you delete an image that is set as a featured image from the media library, then it will be removed from the post or page on which it was set. The “Removing a Featured Image” option allows you to remove an image set as a featured image without deleting it from the media library.
