Deleting an old account without proof of ownership

  I have an old blog, but the mail address doesn’t exist anymore, I do not have the password and I have no proof of ownership, as the mail address doesn’t exist anymore.
  My personal information is on that blog so I’d like to delete it, but how can I do it if I have no access? Please, if someone could help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi @aqua2225,

  I don’t think that you would be able to delete an account if you are not able to provide proof of ownership. I’m tagging a member of the staff to help you out.

  You’ll need access to the account in order to have it deleted.

  @aqua2225 you can contact via passwordhelp@wordpress.com but please note you will need proof of ownership to delete a site.

  You might also try regaining access to the email address.

  Thank you so much for the replies.
  However, I can’t regain access to the mail address anymore, as it simply doesn’t exist anymore. Therefore I do not have proof of ownership.

  However, I read here in the forum that there are ways to put a blog on private like here – which would also help me greatly, as I just want all the blog and contents to be gone/not viewable anymore.

  Please email the passwordhelp address @supernovia provided above, and include all information you do have. Then our account recovery team will advise you on what’s possible in this case.
