Deleting an old comment

  Hi ,

  I hope you can help!
  About 12 years ago I made a comment on a fan page for Lady gaga (see link below) however I put in my full name and now every time my name is googled it pulls this comment up.

  Would it be possible to please delete my comment on the below (From Kadeem Vicars)?
  I would contact the owner of the WordPress however they don’t seem to be active

  Hi Kadeem,

  It is not possible to edit or delete any comments you have left on other WordPress.com blogs. Blog owners are in full control of the comments on their blogs, so you can try contacting the blog owner and ask them to edit or delete a comment for you. If the blog owner has not posted any contact information, you can try leaving a short comment asking how to contact them directly.

  Hi ,

  Thanks for coming back on what i asked
  The site hasnt been updated in over 9 years so it looks like the person doesnt even use the account
  I dont mind the comment being there but i would just like my name removed or changed as this is flagging every time my name is searched
  Isnt there a way wordpress can honour this?

  I’m afraid this is not something we can do for you.
  The owner of the site will receive an email if you comment on the site or use their contact form. If they still use that email address, they will see it and can remove the comment for you.
  As @fstat replied before, we do not make any changes on our user’s sites.
