Deleting an old site

Last year I had a blog about losingweight-gaining money. It was here on WordPress. I’m done with that now. But I’m trying to start a new blog and it’s called Hey Mom! I’m Quilting. If I type in heymomimquilting.wordpress.com, I come to the losing weight blog. I’m afraid to delete the site because it shows the quilting blog as well. I just want the losing weight site to go away forever, and let me have the quilting blog. If you could please tell me how to do that, or do it for me, I would appreciate it. I have absolutely no tech knowledge so anything you tell me must be simplified. Thank you.

You can just delete that site, it won’t affect your other site(s), https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

Wait! Don’t delete the site. The content on heymomimquilting.wordpress.com is your weightloss blog. If you delete it, it would delete that address. It looks like the original site was renamed, rather than a new one started. Try deleting the posts if you don’t want them. https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
Then rename the site under My site > Settings > Site title to “Hey Mom! I’m Quilting” and save.
