Deleting an old website
-
We currently have a website being developed on the Bluehost platform called csaems.com, previous url lqp.ylz.mybluehost.me. However, there’s an older website https://csaems.wordpress.com still displayed on Google/browser. The person who created it left and we don’t have any login details to delete it ourselves. How do we go about deleting the old site before we launch the new site please?

Hi @jessiedog14, you’d need to gain access to the account used to create the site, and then log in and make it private or remove it.
Do you have any of these proofs of ownership?
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-formOr, would the previous owner be willing to transfer the site to you?

Hi supernova
Many thanks for your email. I understand that the security protocols must be in place.
Unfortunately, all the website (csaems.wordpress.com) information has been lost after the previous administrator left.
The detals can only be verified in a request letter from the team leader, and him authorising the website removal. The new website (csaems.com previously lqp.ylz.mybluehost.me) is on the Bluehost platform, and not linked to (jessiedog14) username account.
Could you kindly advise any other suggestions please?
Many thanks.
