Deleting An Old WordPress.com Site
-
I created a WordPress.com blog a while back, I upgraded the domain to a .com site. Now I’ve upgraded to WordPress.org and want to delete my old WordPress.com site. The problem is that since I upgraded the domain on WordPress.com it wont let me delete the old site. How do I get around this? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

My problem was not logging in it is deleting the site once I’m in… Once you upgrade the domain to a .com you can’t delete your site.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

No, that’s not actually correct.
You need to transfer the domain to your new blog FIRST. You may also need to change registrars. Once that’s done, I expect you’ll be able to delete the site. It didn’t used to be that way and today we’ve already seen two or three people who deleted their site, then couldn’t point their domain to their new sites because there was no dashboard.

It has already been transferred. The new website has been up and running for a couple of months and now I’m going back and deleting the old wordpress.com
change registrars?
Anything else I can try?

I have removed the transferred domain records from your account. You should now be able to delete your blog.
