Deleting an unused site
-
The Office of Students In Transition at the University of Minnesota Duluth has been dissolved, and I’ve been tasked with helping to delete old social media accounts. Unfortunately, no one is around with the old site credentials. How do I contact WordPress to delete an old/outdated account?

Hi @mgomke9853f7d444, can you send a link to the site? We’ll see what options you have for proving ownership.
This may help too:
Thanks in advance.

@supernovia – The site is at https://theumdbulldogexperience.wordpress.com/ . Ownership is the wrinkle – I don’t know who initiated the site, the password, etc. A staff member who used to work in SIT is now in our student center – she also does not have access to the site and password. We’d hate to have someone reach out to the University via Word Press and not get a response.

That is tricky.
The username is theumdbulldogexperience. You can reset the password and ask any related folks to watch for a link, but if that does not help, I’d recommend reaching out here:
