Deleting and cancelling a registered domain

  I would like to cancel a privately registered domain (wrygrass.com) and delete the blog site. I’ve enjoyed my experience with WordPress and may start another blog again at some point in the future but WryGrass is not the direction I wish to go. Thank you for the opportunity and I will highly recommend WordPress in the future.
  I appreciate your assistance with completely deleting this site and any recipe posts that are remaining. I have already deleted most of it’s content.

  I understand you would like to cancel your custom domain: wrygrass.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.

  Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.

  Once we remove the domain from this blog, you can permanently delete your site using the guide below:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/

  Please note, we would have to remove the domain before you can do this. Read the warnings and advice before deleting a site, as we can’t revert a site deletion for any reason.

  If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and other members of the site can view it when logged in:

  Thank you for your response and help. I’ve thought it over and I would like to cancel ownership of the domain and request the removal of the domain from the blog so that I can permanently delete it.
  I may re-enter the blogging world again one day under a different guise.
