Deleting and renaming after Posterous migration
-
Hello – I am trying to sort about a bit of admin around my blogs and I hope you can help. I recently imported my blog from Posterous… my first attempt did not work (blog: bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com) so I created a second blog: bridgetgardiner2.wordpress.com and reimported… that worked well and that is the blog I want to keep and have started posting to… all good!
What I now want to do is delete the first bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com import, and rename bridgetgardiner2 to bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com – I have tried to delete the first but it still appears to be there and I tried to rename it bridgetgardinerX.wordpress.com and all that has happened is that it seems to have cloned itself!
I just want one bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com blog – can you help me configure this?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, we have a few options:
1) You could export your site contents from bridgetgardiner2.wordpress.com back into bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com.
2) You could try the Posterous import again on bridgetgardiner.wordpress.com, and let me know if it doesn’t work so I can investigate.
Let me know which route you’d like to go, and whether you need any assistance along the way.
I have tried to delete the first but it still appears to be there
Please don’t delete either site until we’ve sorted this out – thanks!
