Deleting and updating

  I was able to delete the blog that I made, http://floridatrailriders.wordpress.com, but it still shows up in a search.

  I was wondering if the original blog that I created, could be deleted and or re-directed to the official WordPress blog site.

  This is the official blog: http://floridatrailriders.org/ftrblog/
  It is also a WordPress site.

  Howdy,

  If you go to http://floridatrailriders.wordpress.com/ you can see that it hasn’t been deleted yet.

  To delete pages and files from Google search results and cache, please follow these steps.

  1. Set up Google Webmaster Tools with your blog.

  2. Request removal of contents at Google.

  Once you’ve done that and you’ve verified that it’s no longer appearing in Google search results, you can permanently delete the blog from the dashboard in Tools -> Delete Blog.

  Note that the blog address will no longer be available, and the content will be permanently deleted.
